Meet Amy Ponder, Preschool Director
“I have been blessed for most of my adult life to be able to work with children in one capacity or another. I felt the Lord calling me into full-time ministry with children, and after years of praying, God opened the door here at Greer First and I have loved every minute! My goal as Preschool Director is to point our children and their families to Christ. I believe in creating a loving atmosphere that builds children up emotionally and provides them with a strong educational foundation, preparing them for kindergarten. It is important for children to learn, but it is equally important for them to play, and we aim to create an environment where they can safely do both. We are not just a preschool, we are a family, and we treasure the time we have with your children.
My husband and I have four children ranging in age from middle school through college. I was born and raised in Greenville and graduated from Clemson University. Go Tigers! In my free time you will find me spending time with my family, camping or doing something creative. Our family verse is Joshua 1:9 Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
I look forward to serving your family!”
