Visiting Greer First FAQs

Yes! Kids are welcome to attend with you, but we have dedicated classes for every age, led by volunteers who have undergone background checks, love Jesus, and love working with kids.
We recommend pre-registering your kids to make check-in as seamless as possible.

In regard to music as we worship the Lord you will hear a mix of modern worship songs to traditional hymns. Our sermon messages mostly run in series through entire books of the Bible with applicable teaching coming through God’s Word.

Look for a Guest space near the Welcome Center main entrance as you turn into the parking lot.

The Welcome Center is located just off of Poinsett Street to the right of the Sanctuary. When you park near the main entrance you can walk to the Welcome Center or if you are arriving for worship, you can go up the steps directly into the Sanctuary. If you enter the Welcome Center, there will be greeters to show you where to check in kids, find a Life Group, etc.

Come in what you feel comfortable! You’ll see folks in a range of attire.

Yes! They gather Sunday mornings at 9:40 am and Wednesday nights at 6 pm during the school year. They also do weekend events, camps, and other activities to grow in Christ and spend time together.

Yes, our preschool area in HIS Kids offers a dedicated space for nursing moms.

Yes! See what we have going on Wednesday evenings. Other classes or activities may meet throughout the week.

If you are checking in kids, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to check in your children. You can enter through the Welcome Center and greeters will show your family where to to go.

Yes! We have a class for children with special needs run by loving teachers. We recommend pre-registering at least a day before you visit so we can ensure we have the correct number of teachers. If you are unable to pre-register, come anyways!
